SPEED

A new model I've been really enjoying, a bit of a strange alchemy of thoughts and feelings.  Starting with some Jacobs models that got a little rebirth in the early 2000's, a nod to late 60's speed shapes but with some of the fun of the often dissed late 1990's / early 2000's longboards. A generous amount of rocker, soft rolled entry to panelled Vee the length of the board a mid boxy rail that feeds to a hard edge in the back.  It has a generous sweet spot in the middle and just forward of center that is the control room to ride and drive from, stop back and its loose and free off the tail. Find the right section and it'll hold tight on the front, but this isn't really what this board is for. This board if for surfing hard hard off the back, causing from the center and trimming and gunning hard and fast from the front 1/3. They surf shorter than they are so don't one afraid of a bit extra length.
